• Big Ten honors Fera again

    Penn State kicker/punter Anthony Fera was named the Big Ten special teams player of the week for the third time this season.

    Fera kicked field goals of 43 and 46 yards, both bettering his career long, in the Nittany Lions’ 20-14 victory at Ohio State.

    He dropped three of his four punts inside the 20-yard line, including one downed at the 3 in the third quarter and one at the 13 in the fourth quarter.

    Fera, a sophomore from Cypress, Texas, has made 14-of-17 field goals (.824), second in the Big Ten. He also has averaged 41.6 yard per punt, fourth in the Big Ten.
